They run in packs that can span up to twenty members or more.
Highly territorial by nature. Aggressive.
Alphas—and their Omegas—can shift at will, not solely by the moon.

Vampires are classified as magical beings, unnatural to the land they inhabit.
Vampirism is a warped, extended form of life created through magic—severed from Earth once vampires carved out a world of their own.
They did not forget to bring their only resource with them.

Fae are classified as winged magical beings, more closely aligned with nature than any other race.
Their magic is harvested through the land’s natural order, drawing directly from life itself.
Though rooted in the realms, they roam freely—fueled by an endless hunger for energy.
Desire often outweighs restraint. Humans are taken at their will.

MEREMAIDS
Mermaids are classified as hybrid humanoids. They do not possess magic, but are formidable survivors and sworn guardians of the portals.
Once their King and King Victor struck a pact, granting them dominion over portions of the Black Sea in Eari in exchange for protection from human vessels.
Highly territorial by nature. Aggression is expected.
The guards will test all who attempt entry.

BULTUGIN
Bultugins are classified as shapeshifting hyena-men. They do not possess magic, but are formidable warriors sworn to their masters.
They can shift from men into beasts and possess the ability to take one’s soul.

They have their own customs, apart from the Vampires in Velarune.

Elvan are classified as humanoid beings—short, with bright sapphire and rose-colored skin. They possess magic, but choose to use very little so as not to be found.
During the nineteen-year war, they went into hiding.
