Ameega Nightwell — An ancestor of the original vampire bloodline. Her lineage is deeply entwined with the fate of Velarune.
Aribella Nightwell — An ancestor of the original vampire bloodline. Her lineage has long ruled Eari.
Delatrus — Heir to the Palama Court. (Prince in every regard)
Elguto — A vampire turned via blood exchange, considered “unclean” or of lower status within pureblood society.
Eari — The vampire kingdom within Velarune, ruled by bloodlines and fear.
Mate Bond — A sacred connection between chosen vampires, believed to be honorable and absolute.
Naemira — A soul-bound counterpart. A connection that transcends physical form and cannot be severed without consequence.
Orpus — Sitting Ruler of the Palama Court. (King by name)
Woukme — A potion made of herbs and Lyoraxe essence used to conceal scents.
Veil worn over the eyes — Public marker that a women is unbonded.
The Veil of Veils — Magical gateway between realms, hidden beneath a black-sand lake in Eari, and across Velarune.
Velsera Bond — A sacred, soul-bound connection rooted in ancient vampire prophecy. Stronger than marriage, older than time. When the Velsera Bond is triggered, it links two beings in a way that transcends death, distance, and even memory. It cannot be faked. It cannot be broken.
Etymology:
- 'Vel' – an ancient vampire root meaning fate or blood oath
- 'Sera' – from the old word for eternity or soul thread
Together: 'Velsera' = The Eternal Oath of Fate
